The Hidden Truth / Wearing Face Masks & The Damage It Causes.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone over the age of 2 wear a mask while in public settings to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, prolonged mask wearing can cause discomfort or irritate of the skin on your face and ears.

I've personally have had countless issues over the year during this pandemic and mask mandate. Due To Wearing Reusable Cloth Masks & Not washing them every single day  & wearing makeup especially fondation - My Skin Was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode till it finally did!  Wearing a mask for long period of times traps in Sweat, Dirt, Makeup & Hot Air in which is a disaster waiting to happen. It only makes sense that this would be the culprit to all my Skin Drama.

Sound Familiar.... I've broken out from Adult Acne & Severe Dry Skin and no matter how much I washed my face to try & Prevent the situation, the end result was an even worse skin condition than when I started the day before!!

My Skin was broken out in countless places, Cracked when I smiled and hurt in the process due to being overly dry! No matter what kind of Moisturizer I used (and I have so many) nothing seemed to work & Nothing was willing to penetrate the first top layer of my Most Damaged Skin to help alleviate the pain of the cracked dryness that only seemed to get worse!

The Solution? It has been of some of the most simplest Non traditional changes That Most People would not think of such as incorporating a strict All Natural 100% Organic Skin Care Regimen for the first week to try and rid the skin of the extreme dryness & I've found what has worked best for me is buying 100% Organic, Fair Trade B Corp. All Natural, Raw & Pure Shea Butter Which can be purchased on Amazon for about $10 bucks and you'll receive one pound of Pure Uncut Raw Butter that's filled with tons of Antioxidants, Omega's, Anti aging Properties, A Natural SPF and 100 Times The Amount Of Moisture that you would find in one of the best, most expensive moisturizers on the planet!

Performing these actions will automatically leave your skin baby Soft & Super Moisturized, Looking & feeling younger over time. However, The downside if that's what you want to call it? The Shea Butter will be very greasy at first while in use and if its raw, uncut & pure Shea Butter then there's no need to worry the oils will absorb within minutes & you won't break out from the Shea oils either as the oils are pure & won't clog pores.  I've found this to be very true as my skin is sensitive and breaks out at the first site of oil so I'm an expert in this department!

Next, I Would suggest to wearing the Shea Butter only as a Night Time Sleeping Mask That you would apply to the face at night which gives this Raw Shea Butter time to do its job to Heal, Restore, Moisturize & To properly absorb fully into the skin - Several layers deep Is a must!

Next, in the morning lightly wipe the face with a wet paper towel and apply your morning korean facial Sheet mask for 10 mins, a mask without any chemicals that targets dry skin. Next, Apply A Facial Moisturizer and let dry before applying anything else to the skin such as makeup or primer and if your skin was anything like mine - than makeup was not even a possibility.

Lastly, Only Wear Paper Masks! I can't stress this enough, Single one time use paper face masks you can toss in the trash soon as your done wearing them. I've even changed them throughout the day to ensure I continuously had on a clean Mask especially if your going to work, school or will need to wear your masks at long periods of time.

The best place to purchase these disposable masks is at amazon. You Can Find These masks in almost every color, design & price ranging from $10 bucks & up.

The end result to my skin condition? It took about 7 days to regain control again over my brutal skin condition. I will never wear cloth masks again, ever! They are just not for me being that my skin is so sensitive to Hours of Sweat, Oil, Dirt & hot air.
